Tatch, Inc. (“Tatch”, “we”, “us”) makes route-based business development software for the people who build relationships. This privacy policy explains how we collect, use, and disclose information about individuals who use our mobile app or visit our website at https://tatch.co/. What we collect
When using our website, we collect information you provide to us. This includes information you type into the waitlist and book-a-demo forms like your email address, name, company, and anything you write in a message field.
When using our mobile app, we collect the information you provide through the app like the name, address, contact information about your partners, including leads, referrals, and business contacts. We also collect information about pricing you provide, such as what you quoted a potential customer, what you charged a contractor, or what referral payments or rewards were provided. To process payments and rewards, we collect payment information. When you enable geolocation services, we also collect location-related information consistent with your device and app settings.
Like many other websites and apps, we and other entities (like our website hosting provider) also automatically collect information about your interactions with us, the website, and the app through cookies, SDKs, and similar technology. That information includes device ID, IP address, device or browser type, pages requested, and timestamps of visits. We use this information to operate and secure the website and app.
How we use information
We use information we collect for any lawful purpose, including the following:
- To respond to your inquiries, like putting you on the TatchConnect waitlist and contacting you about launch, pricing, and availability — or arranging the demo you requested.
- To send updates or materials of interest to you, like product updates. Every promotional email we send includes a way to opt out.
- To connect you with your partners, including leads, referrals, and potential business contacts.
- To process your transactions, including referral payments and rewards.
- To operate, personalize, and improve our products and services.
- To comply with the law.
- To protect Tatch and our services, including to prevent, detect, investigate, and respond to fraud or other misconduct and to maintain the security and integrity of our website and app.
- With your consent, or as otherwise disclosed at the time information is collected.
How we share information
We share the information we collect with other parties, including the following:
- Service providers, like those that make our website and app work, including our hosting platform, the service that processes form submissions, and the email service we use to reply.
- Your partners, including leads, referrals, and potential business contacts.
- Tatch affiliates or joint venture partners we have now or may have in the future.
- Tatch business or legal advisors.
- As part of a potential or actual corporate sale, merger, or acquisition, or other transfer of all or part of our assets, including as part of a bankruptcy proceeding.
- Other parties if the law requires it or to protect our rights or the rights of third parties.
We also share information with your consent or as otherwise disclosed at the time of information collection or sharing. Additionally, we may share information that has been deidentified or aggregated without limitation.
Retention
We keep information we collect as needed to achieve the purposes for collecting and storing the information or as permitted by law. For example, we keep a waitlist and demo submissions until you ask us to delete them (in which case we delete the submissions where required by law) or until they are no longer needed for launch communications.
Text messages (SMS)
If you give us your mobile phone number and check the consent box in your notification settings, we send you automated text messages about activity on your own Tatch account — for example a new lead submitted to you, a lead changing status, or a reward payout being sent or failing. We never send marketing or promotional text messages, and we never text you unless you have checked that box for the number we hold.
Message frequency. Message frequency varies based on activity in your account.
Message and data rates. Message and data rates may apply depending on your mobile phone service plan.
Help and opting out. Reply HELP to any message for help, or STOP to cancel at any time. You can also turn text messages off, for individual notifications or entirely, in your notification settings. Opting out of text messages does not affect your account or the other ways we notify you.
We do not share your mobile information. No mobile information — including your phone number and your consent to be texted — is shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. We share your mobile number only with the messaging provider that delivers the messages on our behalf, and only to deliver them. This exclusion overrides the general sharing described in “How we share information” above.
Your choices
To opt out of our email marketing, use the link provided in the marketing message. If you opt out of email marketing, we will still send you messages related to our transactions and relationship with you. You also can request to access, change, or delete personal information we have collected about you. To submit a request, email support@tatch.co or amend information in your account settings — we will comply with requests as required by applicable law.
Third-party links and tools
Our website and app include links to third-party websites. Tatch does not control the privacy practices of those websites and they are not covered by this policy. Our website and app also include integrated social media tools or “plug-ins,” such as social networking tools offered by third parties. If you use these tools, those third parties may collect data about you and may use and share such data as permitted by your account settings. Your interactions with third-party companies are governed by the privacy policies of those companies. We encourage you to read the privacy policies of accounts you create and use and of websites you visit.
Changes to this policy
If we change our information practices, we will post changes to this policy and update the date at the top of this page. We encourage you to visit this page from time to time to learn of any updates.
